State Bank OTP

State Bank Was Using High Security Password term previously for money transfer SMS Key.

It was 8 Digit Number send to the Account Holder Registered Mobile number whenever he tries to do money transaction.

Now the High Security term was no more.
According to RBI Guidelines State Bank Group All Branches

State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), State Bank of India (SBI), State Bank of Mysore (SBM), State Bank of Patiala (SBP), State Bank of Travancore (SBT), and other State Bank groups were using the New OTP name instead of High Security password.

Thats it.

As You were in distant location you can able to update your Mobile Number from any Bank branch. This system is introduced in CBS - Core Banking Services. Kindly Enquire this With Your Nearest Bank. They Might Help you.

But it is Impossible to update mobile number Through Phone banking or calling your Branch. If you do So, then its a Security Problem for your account
